The first obvious difference is the photo was taken in a black and white profile in camera.

  • The first mask is empty.

  • The second mask is an oval.

  • The third mask is a linear gradient to darken the river a little to help drive attention towards the basilica.

  • The fourth is an oval to darken the tree a little.

  • The fifth mask is an oval to bring down the exposure on the farther trees near the bridge.

  • The 6th mask is an oval to darken bushes at the base of the buildings.

  • The 7th mask is two ovals to control the exposure on the trees on the right next to the river and a tree on the left, 2nd furthest back.

  • The 8th mask is a sky mask used to bring down the exposure of the sky.

  • The final and 9th mask is a brush mask along the river increasing the exposure
